However there was lots of disputes concerning Reggaeton since it utilized explicit language. Background

Daddy Yankee was born in 1977. He is also called El Jefe and El Cangri. He came into this world in San Juan, Puerto Rico and given its name Ramon Luis Ayala Rodriguez. He’s a Latin Grammy Award winning Reggaeton singer. As he was growing up he was engaged and associated with the underground Reggaeton music trend occurring in his own country Puerto Rico. He soon started to copy the styles of some rap like DJ Goldy and DJ Playero. His 1st appearance was with DJ Playero in a 1992 production Playero 37 however went on to create his very own rhythm and design and became one of the first music artists to be a performed of Reggaeton.

Albums And Songs

His first solo album launched was No Mercy and after that he made a duo with Nicky Jam. Then he went solo once again with the release of records El Cartell and El Cartell II after which he became to be called one of the Reggaeton pioneers and was often referred to as Papi Vaguero. In 2002 his album El Cangri.com became globally acknowledged and was regarded as his first commercial achievement on earth away from Hispanic music listeners. He has also a small commercial advertising job like participating in ads for Reebok and Pepsi.
